EXPERIENCE:
1971 - Present - Member of the Stanford Faculty
in the Aeronautics and Astronautics Department. His research is
currently concerned with the design of aerospace digital flight
control systems and the use of GPS for aircraft surveillance and
navigation. He teaches courses in aerospace control including
optimization and digital implementations. He is a licensed instrument
pilot and has participated in commercial aircraft performance
and routing optimization as a consultant.
1968 - 1970 - Engineer, Systems Control, Inc.
While at Systems Control, significant time was devoted to the
automatic generation of approach paths for the Air Traffic Control
Problem. Attended Stanford University specializing in control
systems.
1967 - 1968 - Engineer, at Analytical Mechanics
Associates.

of Aerospace Guidance and Control.
